The new Mental Health (Approval Functions) Bill was rushed through the Common's on Tuesday allowing it to be debated in the Lords today. This means it will in all likelihood be passed into law this week, completely sidelining service users or their families from any say in the matter of 5000 unlawful sections under the Mental Health Act.
