Unexplained death of psychiatric in-patients at highest level in eight years

Health campaigners have expressed shock at new figures published in a report by the National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide and Homicide by People with Mental Illness (
NCISH), which has revealed that the number of unexplained deaths of psychiatric in-patients has reached its highest level in eight years.
